Bowen Advisors Serves as M&A Advisor to Livewire

BOSTON, July 24, 2013 – Bowen Advisors, Inc., a boutique mergers and acquisitions investment bank focused on growth technology companies, is pleased to announce that OnMobile Global Limited, a global telecom value-added services (VAS) provider, has acquired Livewire Mobile, a leading provider of end-to-end managed mobile entertainment solutions for network operators and consumer device manufacturers. Bowen Advisors provided sellside M&A advisory services to Livewire, establishing early success in the firm’s commitment to providing investment banking services to the Digital Media sector.

Boston-headquartered Livewire provides an integrated suite of mobile entertainment solutions including full track music, ringback tones, ringtones and infotainment services to customers including Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Public Mobile. The Livewire acquisition will enable OnMobile to consolidate its global leadership position in music and ringback tones by firmly establishing a presence in North America. Livewire’s technology and unique customer engagement capabilities augment OnMobile’s current market presence for mobile cloud services that are currently provided to Tier 1 global operators.

“When we hired Bowen Advisors, I was already aware of their deep understanding of mobile technology and the complexities of selling to network operators,” said Matthew Stecker, CEO of Livewire. “What surprised and impressed me was their ability to quickly master the dynamics of the music and digital media markets, while running a quick, efficient process that covered the entire spectrum of potential acquirers.”

Paul Bowen, President of Bowen Advisors added, “One year ago we made the strategic decision to add Paul Johnson to the Bowen Advisors platform to lead our expansion into the Digital Media sector. We now have considerable momentum in this space and I expect that Digital Media will be our most significant growth sector over the coming years.”
